App Keeps Stopping
Battery Optimization (Most Common Cause)
In 90% of cases, the app stopping is caused by Android battery optimization killing SIMtrix Bridge in the background. Follow the complete Battery Optimization guide for your phone brand. This is the single most important troubleshooting step.
Insufficient Memory
If your phone has very little free RAM, Android may kill SIMtrix to free memory for other apps. Close unnecessary apps running in the background. Phones with 2 GB RAM or less may struggle to keep SIMtrix running alongside heavy apps.
App Crash
If the app crashes (closes suddenly with no warning): (1) Check for app updates — the issue may be fixed in a newer version. (2) Try clearing the app cache: Settings > Apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Storage > Clear Cache. (3) If the problem persists, uninstall and reinstall the latest APK.
Android Version Compatibility
SIMtrix Bridge supports Android 8.0 and above. If you are on a very old Android version, some features may not work correctly. We recommend Android 10+ for the best experience, especially for call recording.
