Battery Optimization Settings

Why This Matters

Android aggressively kills background apps to save battery. SIMtrix Bridge must run continuously in the background to receive call and SMS commands from Bitrix24 in real-time. If Android kills the app, you will miss incoming commands until you manually reopen it. Properly configuring battery optimization is the single most important step for reliable operation.

Samsung (One UI)

Go to Settings > Apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Battery > Unrestricted. Also: Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits > Never sleeping apps > Add SIMtrix Bridge. On older Samsung devices: Settings > Device care > Battery > App power management > Sleeping apps > Remove SIMtrix Bridge from the list.

Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO (MIUI / HyperOS)

Go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Battery saver > No restrictions. Also: Settings > Apps > Manage apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Autostart > Enable. In Security app: Battery > App battery saver > SIMtrix Bridge > No restrictions. Lock the app in the recent apps tray by swiping down on its card.

Huawei / Honor (EMUI)

Go to Settings > Apps > Apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Battery > Enable Launch manually. Turn off all three toggles: Auto-launch, Secondary launch, Run in background — then manually enable them. Also: Settings > Battery > App launch > SIMtrix Bridge > Manage manually > Enable all toggles.

OnePlus (OxygenOS)

Go to Settings > Apps > App management > SIMtrix Bridge > Battery optimization > Don't optimize. Also: Settings > Battery > Battery optimization > SIMtrix Bridge > Don't optimize. Lock the app in the recent apps list.

Google Pixel (Stock Android)

Go to Settings > Apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Battery > Unrestricted. This is usually sufficient on Pixel devices as stock Android is less aggressive with battery optimization.

Oppo / Realme (ColorOS)

Go to Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Optimize battery use > SIMtrix Bridge > Don't optimize. Also: Settings > App management > SIMtrix Bridge > Auto-launch > Allow. Enable "Allow background activity" and "Allow auto-launch".

General Tip

After configuring battery optimization, restart the SIMtrix Bridge app. Monitor the connection status indicator for the next hour to confirm it stays green. If the app still gets killed, visit dontkillmyapp.com for additional manufacturer-specific steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will disabling battery optimization drain my battery quickly?
No. SIMtrix Bridge uses minimal resources when idle — it maintains a lightweight WebSocket connection that consumes very little battery (typically less than 2% per day). The battery impact is negligible compared to social media or email apps.
I followed all steps but the app still disconnects
Some phones have additional "deep sleep" or "adaptive battery" features. Try disabling Adaptive Battery in Settings > Battery. Also ensure "Data Saver" is disabled or SIMtrix is exempted. As a last resort, connect the phone to a charger — this prevents most aggressive battery optimizations.
