Phone Shows Disconnected

Symptoms

The phone shows "Offline" in the SIMtrix dashboard. The connection indicator in the Android app is red. Calls and SMS commands from Bitrix24 are not reaching the phone.

Step 1: Check Internet Connection

Open a web browser on the Android phone and try loading any website. If the internet is not working, fix your Wi-Fi or mobile data connection first. SIMtrix requires a stable internet connection on the phone.

Step 2: Check Battery Optimization

This is the most common cause of disconnections. Android kills background apps to save battery. Go to Settings > Apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Battery and set it to "Unrestricted" or "No restrictions". See the Battery Optimization article for brand-specific instructions.

Step 3: Restart the App

Force close the SIMtrix Bridge app: go to Settings > Apps > SIMtrix Bridge > Force Stop. Then reopen the app. It should reconnect to the server within a few seconds.

Step 4: Check App Version

Open SIMtrix Bridge > Settings > Check for Updates. An outdated app version may have connectivity issues. Update to the latest version if available.

Step 5: Restart the Phone

If all else fails, restart the Android phone. After boot, open the SIMtrix Bridge app and verify the connection indicator turns green.

Step 6: Reinstall the App

As a last resort, uninstall SIMtrix Bridge and download the latest APK from your dashboard. Install it fresh and log in again. Your server-side configuration will be preserved.
