Country Code Restrictions

What Are Country Code Restrictions?

Country code restrictions allow you to limit which countries your users can call or send SMS to. This prevents accidental (or unauthorized) international calls and messages that could result in high carrier charges. Available on Reach and Record subscription plans.

Configuring Restrictions

In the SIMtrix dashboard, go to Settings > Country Codes. You can either create an allowlist (only selected country codes are permitted) or a blocklist (selected country codes are blocked). For example, if your business operates only in Poland and Germany, you can allow only +48 and +49.

Configuring Restrictions

How It Works

When a call or SMS is initiated, SIMtrix checks the destination phone number against the configured restrictions. If the destination country is restricted, the command is blocked before it reaches the Android phone. An error message is displayed in Bitrix24.

الأسئلة الشائعة

Can individual users have different restrictions?
Country code restrictions are currently set at the tenant (account) level and apply to all users. Per-user country restrictions are planned for a future update.
Do restrictions apply to incoming calls and SMS?
No. Country code restrictions only apply to outgoing calls and SMS. Incoming calls and messages from any country are always accepted and logged.
