Receive an Incoming Call

How Incoming Calls Are Tracked

When someone calls your SIM card number, the SIMtrix Bridge app on your Android phone detects the incoming call. After you answer (or miss) the call, the app sends the call details to the SIMtrix server, which matches the caller number against your Bitrix24 contacts and logs the call on the appropriate timeline.

CRM Overlay

If the CRM overlay feature is enabled, a floating panel appears on your phone screen during the incoming call. It shows the caller name, company, and active deal from Bitrix24 — giving you instant context before you even answer. This data is fetched in real-time from Bitrix24 via the SIMtrix server.

Call Logging in Bitrix24

After the call ends, the following information is logged on the contact timeline in Bitrix24: call direction (inbound), caller phone number, call duration, whether the call was answered or missed, and the call recording if enabled. If the contact has an open deal or lead, the call is also linked to that entity.

Missed Calls

Missed calls are also logged in Bitrix24. If the caller number matches a known contact, the missed call appears on their timeline. If the number is unknown, SIMtrix can automatically create a new lead so you do not lose potential customers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a delay in the CRM overlay appearing?
The overlay typically appears within 1-2 seconds of the incoming call. The data is fetched from Bitrix24 and cached on the SIMtrix server for faster subsequent lookups.
What if the caller ID is hidden?
If the incoming call has a hidden number (private/anonymous), SIMtrix cannot match it to a Bitrix24 contact. The call will still be logged but without contact association.
