Click-to-Call from Any Website

How It Works

The SIMtrix browser extension scans web pages for phone number patterns. When it detects a phone number, it adds a small phone icon next to it. Clicking the icon (or the number itself) sends a call command through the SIMtrix server to your Android phone, which dials the number using your SIM card.

Phone Number Detection

The extension recognizes common phone number formats: international (+48 123 456 789), national (0123 456 789), parenthetical ((012) 345-6789), and plain digit strings (123456789). It uses smart detection to avoid false positives like dates, order numbers, or ZIP codes.

Using Outside Bitrix24

The primary use case for the extension is calling numbers from websites outside of Bitrix24 — customer directories, LinkedIn profiles, business listings, email clients, and any other web page. For numbers inside Bitrix24, the built-in telephony integration is typically more convenient.

Adding to Bitrix24 CRM

After clicking a number to call, the extension optionally offers to save the contact to your Bitrix24 CRM. You can add the person as a new contact or lead with the phone number pre-filled.

Frequently Asked Questions

The extension is not detecting phone numbers on a specific website
Some websites render phone numbers in ways that are hard to detect (images, JavaScript-generated content, obfuscated text). Try selecting the number text and right-clicking — the SIMtrix context menu option may appear. You can also manually enter a number in the extension popup.
Can I call numbers without the browser extension?
Yes. The extension is a convenience for calling from web pages outside Bitrix24. You can always initiate calls from the Bitrix24 CRM interface or by entering numbers in the SIMtrix dashboard.
