Android App Installation Guide

Follow these steps to set up the SIMtrix app on your Android phone. The process takes about 5 minutes.

Prerequisites

Download the app

Download the SIMtrix APK from your admin panel. Navigate to your admin panel at app.simtrix.app and find the download link in the "Phones" section.

Install and open

Open the downloaded APK file. If prompted, enable "Install from unknown sources" in your Android settings. Launch the SIMtrix app after installation.

Grant permissions

The app will request the following permissions: - Phone: Required to make and receive calls - SMS: Required to send and receive SMS messages - Microphone: Required for call recording (optional) - Display over other apps: Required for incoming call overlay - Notifications: Required for real-time command processing Grant all permissions for full functionality.

Log in

Enter your admin panel credentials (the same email and password you use at app.simtrix.app). The app will automatically detect your phone model and SIM card(s).

Select SIM card

If your phone has dual SIM, select which SIM card to use for SIMtrix calls and SMS. You can change this later in the app settings.

Disable battery optimization

IMPORTANT: Most Android manufacturers aggressively kill background apps. The app will show you specific instructions for your phone brand (Xiaomi, Samsung, Huawei, etc.). Follow these steps carefully to ensure SIMtrix stays running in the background.

Verify connection

The app should now show a green "Connected" status. Go to your admin panel and verify that the phone appears as online. Try making a test call or sending a test SMS from Bitrix24.

Optional: Override SMS Limit (for campaigns)

Android limits outgoing SMS to approximately 30 messages per 30 minutes. If you plan to send SMS campaigns, you can override this limit using our ADB script. Download it from your admin panel under Settings > SMS Limit.

Requires: USB cable, computer with ADB installed, USB debugging enabled on phone.

Troubleshooting

App shows "Disconnected" status

Check your internet connection. Ensure battery optimization is disabled for SIMtrix. Restart the app. If the issue persists, check if your admin panel subscription is active.

Calls from Bitrix24 don't trigger on the phone

Verify that the phone is assigned to the correct Bitrix24 user in the admin panel. Check that the Phone permission is granted. Make sure the app is not being killed by battery optimization.

SMS are not being sent

Check that the SMS permission is granted. Verify your SIM card has SMS capability and sufficient balance. If you hit the Android SMS limit, use the ADB script to increase it.
